b. January 11, 1759, in Lower Merion; m. Sarah Howell, a sister of Hannah Howell, who became the wife of (142) John Levering. He died March 24, 1826. Mrs. L. d __.; both are b. in Leverington Cemetery. He left a will dated Dec. 13, 1805, which was proved at Norristown, Pa, on April 19, 1826. He was a miller and manufacturer, and owned a large property with mills, in Lower Merion, on the right bank of the Schuylkill, opposite Manayunk.
