Our Cousin Family History Binder states that "we are descended from Rory Mor Macleod of Dunvegan, 15th Chief of the MacLeods who died in 1626. Alexander MacKenzie V of Kernsary (1790-1860) and Mary (Morrison)
They had 3 daughters and 4 sons, including my great great great grandfather:
Hector MacKenzie (1814-1871) and Margaret Janet (MacLeod)
William MacLeod MacKenzie (1846 - d. unknown) and Margaret Euphemia (Reed)
Hector MacKenzie Heath, Sr. (1872-1958) and Laura Virginia (Levering)
